UA-Ps is created to simplify everyday tasks with shortcuts for often used features, to harness the power of actions, and to make use of the 48 keyboard shortcut combinations that actions can have.

Simply add the actions to Photoshop with a double-click and use the F keys (F1 - F12) with all combinations of Shift and Cmd (Ctrl on Windows) to speed up your workflow.
Explanation of some actions with too short name
cmd+F5 — Convert Text Type
Convert Paragraph Text to Point Text and vice versa.
shift+cmd+F5/F6/F7 — Left/Center/Right Align Point Text
Change text alignment while keeping text in place.
cmd+F6 — Extract Black
Turns a black and white layer to black and transparent
shift+cmd+F8 — Copy Color’s Hex Code
Copy foreground color’s hex code to clipboard
Installation for macOS:
- Download the latest zip and extract.
- Find and double-click the Ultimate Actions PS v1.8.3 macOS.atn file in the macOS folder to have it appear in the Actions panel in Photoshop.
- Manually add F1 shortcut to Rename Layer in Photoshop. Edit — Keyboard Shortcuts — Shortcuts for: Application Menus — Layer — Rename Layer…
- Turn on standard function keys in System Preferences — Keyboard — Keyboard — Use F1, f2 etc. keys as standard function keys
- Turn off cmdF5 Shortcut for VoiceOver in System Preferences — Keyboard — Shorotcuts — Accessibility — Turn VoiceOver on or off
Installation for Windows:
- Download the latest zip and extract.
- Find and double-click the Ultimate Actions PS v1.8.3 Win.atn file in the Windows folder to have it appear in the Actions panel in Photoshop.
- On Windows, F1 as a shortcut is disabled for Actions, so we add 4 keyboard shortcuts to Photoshop with a keyboard shortcuts preset file. Copy UA-Ps_F1keys_Win.kys from the Windows folder to Photoshop’s presets folder C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 201X\Presets\Keyboard Shortcuts.
- In Photoshop select our Keyboard Shortcut Preset in Edit — Keyboard Shortcuts — Set dropdown.
